DSWD: Volunteers Welcome

The Department of Social Welfare and Development welcomes volunteers to assist in relief efforts for the benefit of those affected by the August 2012 Southwest Monsoon. They have been answered by persons from all walks of life.

As Metro Manila and the surrounding provinces experienced significant flooding, people flocked to DSWD's National Resource Operations Center in Chapel Rd., Pasay City, to assist in the repackaging and distribution of relief goods to be sent to affected communities.
