Celebrate International Democracy Day Online

Happy International Day of Democracy!  This year we have a lot to celebrate, given the exciting wave of demonstrations throughout the Middle East and Northern Africa that began in January of last year and that continue on until today, collectively known as the Arab Spring.    While a confluence of factors brought the region to its tipping point, there are many who say the open and free nature of the internet and social media sites made the Arab Spring possible.
